How many of you feel anxious about change, I.e., new project, new people, new content and anxious to overperform? Wish average performance was okay @ McK. The firm can really bruise your confidence
Media folks, at what level of your career should you consider jumping client side? Folks at client side, what’s the pros and cons of client side vs. agency?
partners pressuring me into working a Saturday unnecessarily to meet fictitious client demands are why I'm leaving. I'm either going solo or finding an industry job.
Nice way to tell your client and her marketing team that they all schedules too many meetings and your teams can't get their god damn work done.
Helping my client source a “Customer Service rep"job that is within their marketing department. location is Norwalk CT though they may be open to some flex/remote location. They do events, conferences

Mamas, have you asked for a roll off or less responsibilities on your current project due to pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness? My client is so critical and demanding it’s caused me to have stress hives and panic attacks. I don’t think I can do my role well pregnant and don’t want the stress to cause the baby harm.
On project in Germany in client’s basement conference room; Turns out it was an old WW2 bomb shelter. Old company manufactured tanks. History is cool. Lack of AC is not
Deloitte’s Diversity & Inclusion group hosted Nicole Hannah-Jones today and it was a goddamn breath of fresh air to hear her speak candidly. Even called the firm out in some places. If you haven’t seen her NYT 1619 project, educate yourselves https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019/08/14/magazine/1619-america-slavery.html
Ad agency designer desperately looking for an out but I have a possible new job opportunity. Here is my dilemma: Pros.... more money, no crazy client demands, pitches or decks or even prospective clients that will go nowhere (in-house), better benefits Cons.... this is a big one - it’s healthcare I’ve been at agencies with a range of clients for the past few years. Career suicide taking an in-house healthcare job? Especially if role focuses more on growth & performance over design?
What the what?! 6 hour delay in DFW, missed all client meetings. Guess I'm a real consultant now?
Got asked to move all hours of one project into another billable code under a different client. What does this mean? Curious to know if this would hurt anyone's metrics? Like the SM on the other side?
Project managers, is it frustrating for you that you can't jump in and do the work yourself? I might want to go into PM but I feel like every time my team was in crunch time I would feel useless and hate it

Any insights into program manager, strategy and business operations role? Interview process?
I started working in a agency two months ago, and I have two very big projects running simultaneously. My Creative Director left for paternity leave, and left me with all the work, facing the client, going to shootings, editing. I've been working 15 days straight, no weekends. The agency hasn't given me any back up/someone I can team up with to do the job. Is this normal? I'm used to have a partner, a copywriter or another creative working alongside. Keep in mind that I'm mid-level.
Does anyone else feel stifled from the current cancel culture and leftist views many of our peers enforce? My of my friends with similar views remove ourselves from any remotely political topic because we know there would be backlash if we were even imply we had conservative or right wing opinions. Why is it acceptable in a working environment for one side to shove their agenda down other peoples through but not acceptable to have an alternate perspective?
How do people study for case interviews? I have case in point but am curious to how people approach practicing them in person?
Looking to make a change fairly soon. 2.5 YOE in government consulting, 1.5 of them at Deloitte. Master's degree. Secret Clearance. Any tips as to where I should apply and estimated salary ranges?

Anyone else with their eye on the door trying to stall on offers until getting their bonus/raise in September?
What makes for a good culture among women in tech at a company? With maybe only one woman per team at my company, there’s not a lot of organic interaction and so I sometimes feel like I’m on my own little island. What are ways that you or your company have helped create a supportive and inclusive work place for women?
I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?

Does Accenture usually reject via email? Finished the entire interview process and they reached out to schedule a call. Was curious to know if I should expect and offer or possible rejection.
