Who cares? Why does everyone try so hard to be divisive? All of these networks are just talking heads with no real perspective on what the average person is going through. Just focus on yourself and live your life instead of always looking for something to be triggered about or to trigger someone else.

I understood “reopen America” as smartly allowing businesses who cannot operate from home (restaurants, for example) to begin slowly reopening under certain standards, like outdoor seating, limited capacity with spacing, etc.

It’s meant to be a phased plan. And those who can work and operate remotely should continue to do so as best they can.

But would they be if we opened?

The point of flattening was to prevent it from ever happening. If we'd overwhelm them by opening now, were opening too soon.

NYC should be the canary in the coal mine.

Just accepted a new job as a wholesaler for the Mergers and acquisitions team at a firm. The position is completely remote and I’d like to travel out of state to visit family without using PTO and just work out of the place I’ll be staying. Is there any way for the firm to find out? My position is licensed IAR technically so I know this adds an extra compliance issue, but any insight would be appreciated

I’ve finally accepted I should make a decent set up for WFH and am just now upgrading my home “office” - super late I know but I hate spending money when I don’t have to and was hoping I could get along on the bare minimum. Best purchases so far have been lumbar back support cushion, desk cycle, and diffuser. Any other suggestions for things that have made your home “office” much more tolerable?

Considering a VP role at a PortCo (30M top line/6M EBITDA) of a LMM fund; reporting directly into the c-suite. I would be running the integration of any company purchased during a role up. Any idea of what total comp should look like? Not sure if helpful, but I’m ~2 years post-MBA.
