Looking to leave my current role, in industry (engineering/manufacturing) and to get back into big 4 (same firm as well), however I have a 3 month holiday planned from December next year.

I have joined lti as a lateral.
After joining they have asked me to collect laptop from office. When i went, the laptop was not in a great condition and was refurbished. I am guessing it was used almost 3 to 4 years before me.

I asked them for a new laptop and they said they dont have new laptop in stock, i even checked with my manager she said she is also using refurbished laptop so no problem.

Inflation costs are killing my pipeline. Many of my deals are scaling back greatly because of their rising operating costs.

How do we overcome the inflation objection? I mean obviously the answer is to show how much value we offer, but how do we do that when all of the companies we work with barely have enough funding?

Reading materials for Snr Strats planning their move up, what’s the one you read that made you go ‘aha’? I’ve read Good To Great and am ploughing through Good Strategy Bad Strategy but need something more marketing-specific to be clearer on how my strategy peers in agencies are thinking and working, and how my non-strat colleagues see the role.
