I got a verbal offer from ACN two weeks ago, and the recruiter told me I could expect a written offer in a few days. I haven’t receive it by now…followed up with the recruiter today, and she told me hopefully I will get it over the weekend or by Monday. Is this normal? Should I be worried? The recruiter told me they really wanted me and the team has a lot of projects lining up and I really like the team..Accenture

You're making a wise choice to take a breather before you continue on with school. I just started writing last year & have really enjoyed the flexibility of it. I don't really thrive in traditional settings (school, work, etc.), but finding something flexible and low key has been a big deal for me. Honestly, I think it depends on what you really enjoy. What sounds like fun? What would you do even if you didn't get paid to do it? It seems silly, but honestly it's a really good place to start. Kudos for doing the brave thing & taking a minute to ask these questions!
If I could go back and redo my undergrad, I would take any opportunity to study aboard. When these opportunities were available I would pass on them so I could graduate sooner. That was stupid! As far as side gigs, if you have any special skills like writing or design you can make good money freelancing, but film editing usually pays that best
If you're trying to stack cash quickly and don't mind working on your feet I would go straight to waiting tables or working at a restaurant. Somewhere that gives good tips. I made money every summer I was off from college waiting tables and eventually bartending. Late nights sometimes and sore feet, but the money's worth it if you can pick up reliable shifts somewhere that pays well and makes decent money. Also think trade skills are always going to bring in money.
