Friend: Instead of IVF, you should try freezing them.
Me: Freezing them?
F: The eggs. It works.
M: That’s part of the IVF process. Optional, but still IVF.
F: No, my other friend did the freezing instead. It worked really well. She’s already pregnant. Just sayin.
M: ...
F: It’s an option for you to think about.

Wow omg. This is what makes my skin crawl these days / why I’ve stopped talking to people about IVF. And then there’s this recent convo:

Friend: ‘We‘ll do IVF for our second child because we want a boy’
Me: ‘Wow that’s a big decision! Are you prepared for all the needles, surgery, and hormones?’
F: ‘Oh I won’t have to do that part’
M: ?
F: ‘That’s just if you’re infertile’

Omg 😳

Thanks for the entertainment guys 😂

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I feel like I wasted 20 years of work life- as if I’m back to sq 1. Married with baby, super under pressure (by myself and the bills) to provide for my family. Looking for more payment security - not knowing when the next paycheck comes in kills me. Apparently I got so many skills etc., but I don’t believe in myself rn. Looking for a friend or someone who was in this kind of situation and got out of it. Of course, looking also for a safe haven/job

Hey all,

My baby is measuring very big but doesn't seem to be coming on her own, so doctor wants to induce around my due date (I'm 39 weeks pregnant now).

Any risk factors I should take into consideration? Things I should make sure to bring up with my doctor ahead of time? This is my first baby.

However a new role in industry might not be as easy either and I'll need to prove myself, where as currently I'm already regarded as a high performer and gained trust.

In a nut shell, we had baby #1 without trying. Started trying for #2 and over 2 years, I had 4 miscarriages and 2 ectopics. In July, my doc informed me that the only way forward was through IVF. I was tired and confused. I PRAYED! and continued trying. (The rest in the comments.)

Please help. I am 32 and I have always had regular periods. This time my doctor said I have small ovarian cysts on both my ovaries, and it could be water based & most likely caused due to stress cntd

I had a surgery for ectopic pregnancy about two weeks ago and I’m still insanely tired. To add before the surgery, I was given one dose of methotrexate and my hemoglobin tanked from 13.8 to 10.8 between the first blood test ( May 1st week) and the last ( June 1st week). I think my tiredness is cause by a mix of low hemoglobin, methotrexate, and surgery. Any advice on how to get my energy back would be appreciated.
