St vitus cathedral is an absolute must, also try and hit the national theater for a ballet. Both are stunning gold laden architectural phenomenon.

Drink all the time, Czech beer while in Prague is incredible and many bars when you get outside of the city center (Prague 1) are awfully cheap and always produces great stories

Oh, also - if you are male and so inclined, fully nude and hands on strip clubs in prague

3 days is a good number of days to explore the city. We did it last year. Make sure you go to the castle and old town. Do riverboat tour too.

Agha Rta Jazz Bar and a bunch of surrounding bars for a Friday or Saturday night.

You can get through what you need to in 1.5-2 days. Take a day trip to Plzen or Kutna Hora(where the bone church is)

Czesky krumlov or litomerice are way better day trips than kutna hora, and plzen only takes about 3-4 hours to go to the pilsner urquell brewery and back (best beer I've had in my life)

Radegast is fantastic tour as well - also 3-4 hours away

Have you ever been misdiagnosed by your doctor? I went to my primary doctor for pelvic pain and inflammation after sex. She swore I had an STI after a pelvic exam and she did a cervical swab to test. She treated me the same appointment before the test results came back. I got a shot 500 mg of ceftriaxone. And also some type of antibiotic pills. The tests came back negative. I never had an STI. I had a yeast infection :/ I was treated for the wrong thing

Some details:

Age: 32
Single
Net worth: $470K
Target Number: $1.8M ($60K annual expenses)
Current Annual Savings: $40K minimum ($70K max)

Just switched jobs (no longer at EY) and hoping to do plenty of traveling over the next few years!

I have almost 2 YOE, I’m currently just start on my 3rd engagement and I feel depressed, I haven’t felt rested for a while as I haven’t taken pretty much any time off. I’ve taken on a lot of responsibilities and this week in particular is a huge week with tons of meetings and presentations that I have to do. I can’t sleep thinking about everything I have to do Monday. I really want to take a mental health break, but I don’t think it’s possible due to all my commitments this week, any advice?

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.

Hi all - could use a little crowdsourced help with an admittedly unusual request. Last year, I did a two month working retreat south mid-jan through mid-March. Would like to do it again, but I am looking for a place with a basketball court (key), pool (key), and ideally near the ocean (nice). Trying to stay at 3-5k per month. Been googling, but does anyone know of anything offhand? Hotel or AirBnB is fine, leaning SoCal or FL, but open to suggestions.
