Friends, EY is initiating my PERM and asking me to fill out a questionnaire. I have only worked for EY “full-time” for 2+ years (1 year Staff, 1+ year Senior) after college and have two summer internships during college. What should I put for my previous work experience given I’ll need to obtain experience verification letters (EVLs)? Can my current company (EY) be my sole previous employer? Appreciate any advice/is anyone in a similar situation?

Our CSM department is going through a major restructure right now. There has been a huge amount of turn over since the beginning of the year. Our managers have not given us any insight to what the new restructure will look like, they have also pushed out our annual raise conversations until the end of April. Please advise - with approved I-140, you can extend H1B for 3 years even if priority date is current? I already have an approved Audit Manager PERM (May 2021) but was not promoted to Manager this year. Instead of filing I-140, my employer wanted to restart a Senior PERM. I would like to push back to let them know to just file I-140 for Audit Manager. But can you let me know if that will extend 3 years so that I still have time to make it to Manager. My PD is current, I am not Indian/Chinese.

Do we need to take a passport picture for visa interview in India...? I have the OFC interview tomorrow and the online site says that they will take a digital pic on-site. Notsure if we need to carry a passport size photo.

How soon do I have to leave the country? The last visa I had was an F-1 and that expired on August 8th this year, so I was on Cap-Gap. I-94 says D/S

Planning to quit H1B job, go home, and apply for new positions. Have approx. 1 yr left on H1B max date, no I-140, and hoping to come back via consular processing. Severely burnt out and need time to recoup mental health. Anybody done this before? How feasible is this?

My fiancé is filing for his GC (has biometrics appointment mid Dec, I140 approved, I485 filed in Nov). We’re planning to get married in June- if he gets his GC before I can be added to his application then does anyone know how long before I get mine? I read somewhere that spouse can be added as dependent anytime before GC is issue to main applicant. TIA

I currently have my EAD based on my OPT with an addition 2 year renewal. I have also submitted a marriage based GC application in Nov 2021, did my biometrics currently waiting on my interview. I have an offer from a tech company and want to leave my current employer. I am worried if I tell my upcoming employer about being currently on OPT they will freak out and take back their offer even doh I can work and don’t need their sponsorship.
