I use mine to answer emails and texts with a keyboard. It's also makes it easier to drink on the flight back on Thursday and I'll even use it to provide comments back on PPTs if I'm not making other edits. Using as a second screen is 👌
I loved how Deloitte Digital 1 used the term "use cases" in his response😂
Second screen using Duet at work, Kindle/Netflix during takeoff/landing or at the hotel, and graphics tablet when I need one.
(I ended up getting a Surface Pro which covers use cases 2-3 above and also gives me access to a native Windows/Office experience, but those were the reasons I was considering the iPad Pro)
I had big goals for it but now my kids just use it from games and movies 🤷🏽♀️
Ended up getting a 12 inch MacBook instead. Almost the same weight as an iPad and can do much more
So why are you considering it if you don't know what you'll use it for?
I use mine for porn
I've been researching this recently too. Pro doesnt make sense for me as my laptop covers everything, as you say. My most common use profile will be browsing, shopping as well as working on side projects so I need to be able to edit and manage Google docs. I'm also limiting myself to around a $300 budget. So I've decided on a 10-inch class laptop which would either be the new iPad 2017 or something like the Asus Zenpad 3S 10
What about taking notes in a meeting. Anyone tried doing that? You have the option to type or use the stylus? Sometimes I don't want to type while Im taking notes in a meeting with a lot of senior people. Maybe the stylus helps in those cases?
I was in your exact position 2 months ago, pulled the trigger on a Pro and have not regretted it for a second. It has completely replaced my laptop for all non-work tasks + has been super convenient for entertainment while traveling
I just use my iPad mini for personal use, basically replaced my personal laptop. So easy to use during travel too as it's lighter and smallee
I love my iPad Pro for notes in meeting. If I'm needing tons of notes the keyboard is great - if more 1:1 meeting I use the stylus. I love the new IOS, which allows me to search my handwriting (mine is pretty bad and it still works). I have an infinitely & instantly searchable moleskin
@D1, I see lots of people doing that as well. Makes sense for the elbow room.
I use my iPad for phubbin on travel
Does anyone's firm provide them to employees for work? I have the iPhone 7+ for my work phone, bc I wanted to have more of a tablet for mobile use, but I'd rather have an iPad and smaller phone next round if possible
What app do you guys use for taking notes on your ipad pro?
Mostly porn, although have lately just started using phone
P3, I use the new IOS notes app. The handwriting recognition is crazy good - can search your notes instantly.
I'm not your friend buddy guy
