I fucking hate the expectation that "men must provide" or "women must act a certain way". That's damaging to a lot of relationships. I love division of labor and working with each other's strengths and weaknesses without so much emphasis on gender roles. I'm a big supporter of utilitarian relationship that strives for the good of the partnership and each party.
Thoughts on Deloitte getting rid of diversity groups...it seems unnecessary to me. IMO Including white males in the discussion can be accomplished without disbanding groups.

Long story short - my nanny has many conservative values - mom shaming breastfeeding in public, gender specific roles, considering boys better than girls etc. it never bothered me before and I have learned to co exist with her however now my toddler is speaking and understanding more I am worried about him being influenced by her. Further she also has comments against my SO being too involved parent & calling out son as cutie, hugging toddler etc as he is a boy. Contd..
I am curious how other inclusion teachers are being utilized when the school is doing remote learning. I find that I am sitting in the zoom class and have very little opportunity to contribute. I am having discussions with my teachers on ways that I can better support them and the students when remote.

Background: There is some current turmoil and I have been identified as someone they want to stay through it and wait for it to get better. We don’t have many females at the top. Grant Thornton Tax manager or KPMG Specialist 2? I got a few offers recently, and now have to make a decision between Grant Thornton Tax manager or KPMG Specialist 2. GT has higher salary and position, while KP's people are really nice and professional during the interview, besides it's hard for me to say no to a Big 4 opportunity. GT is focusing on enterprise and high net worth taxes, while KP is focusing on energy mining industry tax and tax provisions. Hard to make decision!

I’m really unhappy in audit. Not only is it the hours during busy season, but I just have no interest in audit work and find it really tedious/boring. I want to transition to either a Finance role (FP&A/Financial Analyst) in industry or into a finance consulting role (such as valuations). I’m interested in financial modeling and working on forward-looking aspects of a business. Should I talk to my Career Advisor about how I’m unhappy in audit or should I just look for opportunities elsewhere?

As an Indian visa worker in US, I feel Indian managers in ZS are very rude to me , one makes me work longer hours than white team members , never lets me present in workshops , and always criticizes.
