From my high school/college job at a county I have a 457(b) that has $5,215 in it with an ARR of 2.18%. It’s not much, but I am trying to figure out what the best thing to do with it is: leave if there until retirement, cash it out w/ no penalty but income tax, or roll it over into I assume an IRA. Any advice would be appreciated! (My current job has a pension and I pay extra into a different 457)

How do you explain to you SO the role of billable hours? I feel like a broken record talking about how BIg law and in general the legal profession is very different, but my SO doesn’t seem to get the stress.
