Is it worth taking calls from recruiters when you're absolutely not looking to leave? I just started a new position 6 months ago; I'm always interested in connecting with recruiters just to be on their list in case some once in a lifetime opportunity comes along, but I'm obviously not looking to leave yet.

Any one have insight into behavioral questions for a project management role that I applied for? Any insight would be great. It would be my final interview.

Is a portal the same thing as if I applied online myself? I always imagined recruiters have personal relationships with hiring managers. So I was surprised to hear about an online submission portal.

My wife is pregnant with our second child. She has a good job and health insurance. I went out on my own doing criminal defense so I could help with our first child. Our daughter has been sick a lot. I don’t make as much as wife. Now with second one the cost of daycare will double. Is crazy to run the numbers and think Maybe I shoul be stay home dad? I’ve been offered a position that I’m really excited about. Their initial offer was 10K more than the top of the salary range they gave me for the position when I asked during the interview process and at the top end of the salary requirements I set for myself. how do I say in my application that I want to work in consulting? this doesn’t seem like an interesting short-term or long-term goal but it’s true. i don’t have an industry or problem I’m really passionate about which is what I like about being a generalist in consulting but this doesn’t seem inspiring enough for a T10 application
