What is current ctc for sap ewm for 6 yoe?
Hello Fishes,
I have already got offer from Capgemini for 13 LPA and my joining date in on October. Now I'm getting early release from TCS and I can able to join Capgemini from 1st week of August.
Does Capgemini provide any joining bonus for joining early? Or any other components I can ask from Capgemini please advise? Capgemini
Where did that phone come from? 😆
I think moving in-house is more of a ‘take a great opp when it comes’ situation, so people understand if you jump shortly after starting somewhere. I’d aim to stay at your next job for a bit though.
3-5 years of experience tends to be the starting for the entry level attorneys, which are only entry level in the legal sense but are mid-level with respect to title/pay. We do have some that are just under that many YOE. Or maybe had 1-2 years of legal experience and a clerkship, and they do more contract drafting as opposed to direct connection with the rest of the business and less advisory work. But there’s absolutely room for advancement for folks who come in at lower levels. And moving to a different in house position is fairly easy and common.
I would aim to stay at your current form for as close to a year as possible, but if a great opportunity presents itself sooner then it might be the time to jump.

All of those are so different that it’s impossible to give advice, none of those niches are small enough where you need to worry about anonymity

You might struggle to find a position given your lack of experience, but I don’t think it will “look bad” to jump as soon as you are able.

Because you have little experience to offer a company, and few companies have significant opportunities for junior attorneys requiring training. They exist, but are much more limited than not experienced roles.

Also 2020. Jumped to F50 in house last year but regret and came back to law firm life. Make sure in house is what you want. After this short experience, I think I won’t go in house for another 5 years.
I frankly am having trouble with the evening work night after night after night, weekend work, inability to unplug/still be “on” during weekends, working on weekends, etc.
I do struggle and sometimes wonder if I won’t find in-house as intellectually stimulating, but I would also like to have more of a life, which I think is at least a bit easier in-house (even tho that still has its own demands and challenges).
If you go in too junior people think you’re inexperienced and you get the crappy + administrative work.
In my regulatory area, it seems like 3 years is the earliest you can go in tbh
