From working on new approaches to sell an enterprise SaaS product one minute to being locked out of my Google account without notice.
New Yorkers: I was recently laid off and just went though the hell that is “everything unemployment” related. I wrote a cheat sheet on all I learned (it’s hell) to hopefully spare future victims.

Hello everyone. I have 9 years of experience in iOS development. I have worked in swift, react native, reactjs and blockchain. Was working a product lead. Got laid off last week. Looking for an opportunity.
Thanks in advance!
So it seems like I might be getting laid off from my part time gig come the new year. Thinking about doing UPS delivery driving using my own vehicle, or Instacart. This would be in New England. How’s the income with either of these? Could I expect to make ~$500-$800 a month doing it part time after my full time job and/or weekends? Trying to figure out the best side gig without overwhelming myself
I got an offer in cunsumer payments as data engineer couple of months back. I have joining on December 5th. But now am worried about layoffs and coming layoffs in next quarter. Can some one share any insights?

Y’all I’m about to act colored at work and get fired. These people don’t, can’t, pay me enough.
Hi, I had been laid off several weeks ago and because of eagerness to find a new job, I had sent out several apps to companies with positions I qualified for. However, I was screened out immediately due to my resume.
Because of this, I had revamped my resume to better showcase my qualifications after having colleagues review and provide feedback.
I wanted to see if it would be worth trying to apply to the same positions with a different email? Thank you for any advice!
Can you be laid off if you're on a project?
Fears of a recession are reasonably causing people to take a second look at their job security. I’m a junior associate working on a team with one senior associate and two partners. The senior associate does nothing (doesn’t give any deadlines or concrete assignments, doesn’t communicate what the partners are discussing or expecting as work product, doesn’t contribute to the work flow, delegates without context) making us look bad and leaving us in the dark consistently. I assume this is not terribly uncommon - tips on addressing this without shitting on/trashing the senior associate?
Does a proudly displayed American flag make anyone else uneasy? For example, seeing the flag in someone’s window frame or on someone truck bed.
Have a report that does great every day work. Keeps the biz running. Wants to be sr but lacks the drive and overall just not that good doing big idea creative work nor dealing with clients directly. I tried mentoring them, but they’ve only show slight improvement. They are due for a promotion, but doesnt feel like they have the chops. What should i do?
Anyone loving or hating MS Sharepoint for creative teams? My Dept currently relies heavily on Airtable, Slack, and email, but that seems to leave some big gaps. I've tried Notion, Clickup, and Basecamp, and they all seem to have their flaws.
Recently moved over to brand side from agency. Finding that I love the work/life balance but struggling to feel like I'm doing anything meaningful. No direction, you invent the work. I feel like as crazy as agency life is, at least you felt like you were doing something and adding value/learning. Not sure if this is the right fit or if it's just an adjustment period. Anyone make this transition and realize maybe brand side just isn't for them? Or is this normal and will settle into a stride?
I keep getting asked what other types of things I want to work on. Currently doing IA cosource, but they want to make sure I don’t get bored. What other IA projects should I try? I have no clue....
