As a consultant you should be a jack of many trades
Have a broader mindset of learning and improving on what comes your way, rather than going in search of something specific. That would definitely reduce your frustration...and opens your mind on learning things outside of analytics which could be: developing strategy, influencing people and stakeholders, improving shareholder value etc
It’s very frustrating. It’s great to learn other things, but we depreciate very quickly. It feels like all the effort is going to the drain.
