Get him neutered
We will once he’s a year old based on the breeder and vet recommendations
I point and laugh at him and it seems to embarrass him
Awww
I did the same with my boy and waited until he was about a year old. Until then just try to distract/redirect. The neutering will solve a lot!
My pitbull lab mix is a lil over 10 yrs old and loves humping pillows. She’s a girl btw 😂
Mine found a toy he liked to hump instead of other dogs/peoples legs. Harmless. Neutering fixed it
My 2.5 year old golden mix is neutered and still humps every night around 9:30 pm. The fun part is that he bites his bed while humping. We keep trying a distraction, like kibble but so far nothing has stuck.
Mine is a little over 5mo and it depends on what he’s trying to hump.
Person: leave the room for 20s for “reverse time out”
Toy or pillow: take it away and give him a toy that’s too small to hump instead - usually throw a tennis ball
Dog: Lead him away and soothe him until he calms down
Fair enough! It’s a tough train to stop!
