I recently joined a company's marketing team as the latter. Then, a few months ago our performance marketer made the case for switching from a leadgen to a demandgen strategy. So far so good. But now, he seems to be overly eager to be involved in the content creation process and is edging his way into what were previously my responsibilities. As my last agency was falling apart, I started looking for a new job, and per usual, it took a while to find the right fit. Since iOS 14 changes, Facebook ads isn't the same anymore. Why?

A. >75% iOS users denied tracking. They are no longer tracked across websites/apps. Facebook lost its edge.
B. Targeting and conversion tracking aren't as effective anymore.
C. Many advertisers have been migrating their budgets from Facebook to Apple and Amazon ads.

What’s everyone’s favorite syndicated data source for consumer behavior and/or industry insights? (I.e. brandwatch reports, e marketer chart of the day, numerator, buzzsumo, etc)

I’m interviewing for a marketing manager role and after speaking with the hiring manger I’m being asked to do a written assignment. The assignment is creating 4 separate strategies around different areas. This will take quite a bit of work. 1-2 strategies seems reasonable but 4 seems like a lot. I asked the recruiter how in depth they are expecting me to to go and she said “as much as I’d like to. It’s up to me and what I see fit.” Does this ask seem reasonable? Have others experienced this?
