Looking for advice/perspective. currently a senior 1 (ignore my title on here, it isn’t updated) hoping to early promo to manager at the end of my senior 2 year. All signs point to this happening at my current firm based on reviews and discussions with my counselor and teams. I feel pretty behind in comp, and could probably get a $25k bump by switching firms. That is a lot of money but comes with having to rebuild my reputation at the new firm and probably not promoting early. Worth it?

Is there a way of bypassing the H1B lottery? I was told by an external recruiter that if I joined their London team, after a year I could go through H1B process without the lottery. I was told that I was the chosen candidate for a new role that I applied for which will be promotion, I just recently received my offer and was surprised and decided to start negotiating. My boss immediately said that this is offer, either take it or lose it and no negotiating, and was only given a day to decide whether I want it or not, so he repost the position, and was also told that I was going about it the wrong way for trying to negotiate, Is this wrong of me to negotiate?

I am starting a new position as an SDR at LinkedIn and thus signing a new contract. It’s an entry-level position but I have already worked in the company for some time. Would you recommend negotiating the offer or SDR entry-level positions are usually not negotiable?
