I've used Classcraft, but not as completely as I would have liked. I find it works better with some classes than others.
Classcraft is awesome! My son's hs English teacher uses it!
My 8th graders and 10th graders get super into it. My seniors are harder to convince but I think if you play it up and lean into it I think it will help. The kids really like the quests function and we did lots of boss battles to review for tests.
I forgot to mention in my previous reply that I also regularly use escape room and breakout scenarios. I've even done these as testing and exams.
