I am a Principal Solutions Architect with 13 YOE of which 5 years exp is with Biotech focusing on Public Cloud (AWS) & overall AWS exp. 9 years. I need suggestions /opinions if applying for a Senior Solutions Architect (Level6) at AWS makes sense or if I should aim for a Principal SA (level 7) role at AWS with Healthcare & Lifesciences industry experience. If it makes any difference, I worked for AWS ProServe as an external SA in the past. Any insights / feedback appreciated.

If you’re a heavy runner, Garmin hands down. Otherwise, it depends (and also your budget)
Beginner and price sensitive- Fitbit, Intermediate and look sensitive- Apple
Athlete and nuts for stats- Garmin
Would agree except would put look sensitive as a pro for Garmin not apple
Withings 😄
Garmin! Even the more basic versions are excellent products. I use mine to track steps, walks, runs, biking, etc but it can be used for so much more. It stays charged for days. It’s user-friendly and looks great. I would recommend a Garmin to anyone!
Fitbit Inspire personally, I don’t need all the function of an Apple Watch. I’d rather have 4+ days of battery life and just the fitness focused features. Haven’t tried Garmin but I think it’s better for serious runners
Rising Star
I like my Fitbit because it’s so much smaller and thus less tacky looking than a giant Apple watch or Garmin.
I would recommend the newer garmins for what you want. The garmin 255 has amazing sleep tracking.
Three other things to consider
1. Battery life. Garmin /Fitbit are hands down the best here. Easily get 2-4 weeks with almost all Garmin watches.
2. Apple is great if you want mega connectivity. Personally I don't need all that connectivity since my phone is nearby.
3. Garmin offers a great site (Garmin connect) and app to track all of your data. Supposedly one of the best
I think the apple watch will become a legit contender once they figure out how to get the battery to last 8-12 days.
But if you are an apple junkie - it's a great watch
If you’re considering Garmin, I would also look at Coros as well. I have really liked my Coros Pace 2 and got some good insights from it during my marathon training.
Fitbit for me hands down, especially with the battery life
Had to switch to Apple for some app for work but I hate charging daily lol
