Gave notice a week ago to my current job. Standard 2 weeks notice. Partner said he would call me to discuss further, and potentially present a counteroffer, but since then it’s been radio silence. He wanted me not to mention to others in the meantime but at this point I feel like I would have to in order to properly assist with the transition of my deals to other associates. Should I just go ahead and tell others in the firm or should I not say anything as he asked?

A partner put me in charge of a specific project that I ran independently. Things were going well. The client began asking me to do more and more, including revamping their system and internal trainings. The client even gave me a litigation matter. Suddenly, the partner became more involved. I was removed from meetings concerning the revamping, my trainings were cancelled, and he started micromanaging. He has now sidelined me from the project and trash talked me to the client. I am very upset.
