Hi Fishers, I want to pivot my career into management consultant. I am currently working as a Market research analyst with 1 YOE. Can someone please suggest me how or where should I start to build my career in management consulting at Big 4.
Also, please suggest entry level jobs that I will be eligible for with skills in Strategy, primary and secondary research, and competitor analysis.
Thanks in advance!

I feel ya. Don't have the same problem but just spent the day getting all my docs together 😂 or at least what I could for now. You filing aos?
Yup! Submitted everything I could - with the promise of sending additional documents in the next few days
Yes I had this problem. I am from Delhi so my mom had to fly to India and go to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi and make them issue a new birth certificate with my name on it. I did the same thing where I submitted the rest of the documents and they give you 3 or 6 months to submit the birth certificate.
It took them 2 weeks to issue it and she had to chase them multiple times.
Oh thank god! As long as they give me time - otherwise it’s not doable

We did consular processing. Priority date of 2019. Now it is current per the October bulletin. Do you know if I need to wait for the welcome letter from NVC or can we proceed without it?
My PD is in 2016 under EB3. Have dates been further moved? My understanding was that it’s Jan 2015 under EB3 as of Oct bulletin
Yea I didn’t have one and had to collect it in person. So parents set it up (went to the hospital and municipal office etc and got the paperwork set up) and I collected it when I went to India next. Caused a painful 2-3 year delay in getting my GC. PD was current when I started the process, but by the time I got my birth certificate it started getting backlogged and finally took 3.5 years (I know it’s not much compared with others, and I am grateful for that)

Yes you can go to the local consulate and get a letter

Get it locally in the US. I am Pakistani and got it from the consulate.
Thanks this is helpful! Will give the consulate a whirl - else municipal it is
In my case, USCIS did not accept the letter from the Indian consulate in New York. They told me they needed the official document.
