Wow. An AA endorsement here is rare indeed.
Agree on the redemption and overhead points. Easier to get Executive Platinum than Diamond and easier to get Concierge Key than 360 ( in my experience). Nothing beats AA Flagship Clubs.
Overall experience in Delta is better. Food, equipment, service all beat AA. If it’s just you and you don’t expect to fund that many first class international trips on points, go Delta. If you need to bring the family with you internationally, go American.

#1 is less of a debate. #2 and #3 is a race to the bottom.
What’s your experience like on Delta?

Delta is great until you try to redeem the miles. If you’re going to be an elite (i.e. high status level) flyer, United is the way to go.
Delta points a virtually worthless. But definitely best in-flight experience domestically.
I prefer Polaris and Flagship Business to DeltaOne, presuming your flying on new or retrofitted metal.
Delta for a nicer flight experience, United to redeem miles. Saying this as a United 1K

Yes it is.

TPG says it’s Alaska then United
Alaska is way better than United IMHO. Doing alaska right now and I am so glad I gave them a try.
If you’re not NYC, ORD or LAX, you’re not really spoilt for choice. Even then, my ease of use of an airport would weigh in. I detest UA, but EWR is pretty easy to get to on the NJ side. Delta is “nicer” (read:”less shitty”) but LAG is hell on earth. AA/JFK is the right amount of purgatory. Like the worst Goldilocks option, this airline is too delayed, this airport is just annoying enough to get to.

Feel like GS is easier to get than CK or 360. No?
