Honestly, what answer you are expecting? These three firms are so big that they have multiple teams in all offices across continents with good and bad PPMD EM Associate Analyst.
Why don’t you share with us whether Mck is the company you wanna work for and why?
In my undergrad class the MBB hiring looked like this:
McKinsey: hired the nerds who were super into politics.
Bain: hired the smart people with interest in the arts
BCG: hired engineers and extroverts.
Personally based in that Bain and BCG were my top, and I went to BCG because higher relative prestige.
From what I read here, the people at Bain appear to be pretty happy with where they work.
McKinsey if you prioritize prestige, Bain if you prioritize culture, BCG if you don’t get the other two.
Whoever you get along with the most. They are big enough and pretty similar I suspect you could have very similar work experience at all three.
Between McK and BCG, I'd say BCG seems to actually care about compensating its employees properly while McK openly says it's comfortable with paying us less than our peers at BCG. I imagine this sentiment carries through more broadly to how these firms care about their people.
Between McK and Bain, from what I've seen the compensation and experience (staffing, projects, career progression, etc.) at McK are more suited for top performers and are pretty terrible for everyone else, while if you're average (not a bad thing! Most people are) those things will be better at Bain.
