The past few years a lot of projects have had a heavy focus on mobile and how to be useful when a consumer is shopping or making a decision. That’s usually creating mobile site experiences or apps that bring consumers closer to brands. Also, a heavy analytics focus to figure out what content to serve to the right person based on previous behaviors.
Make websites
For traditional agency folks, “digital” does not mean banner ads (though that sometimes does get thrown into the mix). It’s largely site redesigns, site enhancements/maintenance, e-commerce, mobile apps, platform builds. I usually explain the difference by who the clients are. Many times (though not always), a client’s IT group owns the contract, whereas at traditional places, it’s usually the brand.
