Marsh & McLennan McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hi everyone. I am an international MBA student-athlete candidate trying to get into consulting.
I would like to know if anyone has any networking suggestion for internationals in my same situation.
Is there event to attend in the North/east area that I can use to leverage some connections? Online events?
Any type of comment is welcome.
Thanks

Need help from Amazon 🐠 Anyone interviewed for Amazon L5 BIE in GSF supply chain team? The JD said basic qualifications include data modeling, ETL, data warehousing and optimization. Any idea or experience how they will test these topics? Asking about related experience? Or show some data and ask how you will deal with that? Or like a case study, given a senario and ask how you think in order to tackle problem? Need advice/idea/experience urgently. Thanks in advance.Amazon @BIE

I think the point is that you'll learn a lot over the next two and a half years. One of the things you may learn is that the last thing you want to pursue is a future in IT.
If you give it a few years, you'll have a better idea about your interests and be able to identify the right path for you to invest your time and resources in education.
mba is useless...meant for low level work...go for masters or any other technical degree
I recently graduated from a T10 school - would heavily caution against getting too wound up in “M7” terminology. I’d say these days it’s more of a “Tiered” approach, where you can group schools into peer groups as far as which jobs you’re likely to get, and the M7 aren’t necessarily the top 7 options anymore, especially if you know for sure what you want to do after your MBA. Really, you should focus on T15 and then consider scholarships, recruiting strength in specific industries, and general tiers (I.e. definitely still go to H/S/W if you get into one)
