IB hours are even worse than consultant's. I have a friend who has to sleep with his phone in his hand so that he can feel the phone vibrate and respond within minutes

I switched after MBA. I learn a lot more in consulting, like the work better in consulting but to each their own, have much better exit options (and at least at Bain, equal for stuff like PE), I personally find the stress levels pretty similar between jobs but people are nicer in consulting, lifestyle is definitely better in banking but for me the difference is Friday and weekends and M-Th aren't that different, pay in banking is better but not crazy different (at my level, maybe $200k vs $250-300k). Single biggest thing for me is learning

IB work is high stakes, but ultimately repetitive. Get some money in play in the stock market (#independence) and supplement your income that way. Last month I made equal income from this job and from the market.

So what do you think is a fair salary for a Business Analyst role if you had over 10 years experience of implementation, in this case, it's learning management implementation and in all five implementations you've actually worn the Business Analyst role as one of the hats. It's for a global data security organization. I don't want to rule myself out and they're not offering up a range. I research the company and salary ranges from $110-$120k.
