What are my (realistic) options?
1. 10 years experience in FS Consulting and top tier IB operations
2. Roles have been a combination of transformation, innovation (think digital, automation, AI, etc), and heavy data analytics
3. Have line management and project leadership experience
4. Want to do something more directly commercial (internal accounting reductions in headcount just aren't tangible enough...)
5. Has to be London based

No one cares about GPA except for direct out of college. At that point it’s one of the few metrics that show your potential to succeed. I busted my ass in undergrad to get as close to 4.0 as possible. In the MBA program, after getting experience I did just enough to get a B.
@senior so if I’m up for partner in 7 years they won’t look at transcripts? What if I decide to move to industry? I’m almost 30 btw
I don’t think the gpa matters unless the firm is reimbursing some of your tuition and there is a minimum gpa you are required to maintain for that reimbursement. MBA’s aren’t required for partner promotion
if you are not speaking from experience dont answer. all big 4 and other national require online applications with transcripts. i know people over 50 who had to request college and mst transcripts to submit. also know partners who merged in to firm age 50plus who needed to provide transcripts. maybe it didnt effect position but grades are definately not
behind you once you start working
This is helpful!
Nobody cares about your GPA, just the degree. I have found where GPA is applicable is for those who are fresh out of college and have no work experience. In that case GPA provides a little insight to level of effort and commitment. My two cents anyhow.
