Getting back into travel and wanted to see which airline you all think I should be loyal to and why from a points perspective? United and American always come in dead last in all the ratings.

Delta/Starwood combo is ideal

I spread the love which gives me a ton of flexibilty for both work and personal trips. Downside is I have the lowest level status with AA and United and gold with Delta. Upside is early boarding and premium seats no matter who I fly with. United seems hardest to use miles, AA hardest for free upgrades, Delta is my fav, but not terribly convenient for ORD flights.

American points are worth the most though

I hate united but I love star alliance, so I stick with United.

United is the best if you are a Marriot member.

But who knows what's gonna happen with Delta/SPG post acquisition, when Marriott/United have a partnership

Depends on where you fly the most. I.e. You're flying into chicago then go United. Flying into Dallas - American. Look for the best flight times / most options.

I got great value out of my points on Delta - $0.04 per point conversion for business class flight to Italy. Beat American on a one off basis, but don't doubt that AA might be better on average.

Currently at Deloitte. I have received an offer from Guidehouse (Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure practice) for the same level. Slight pay increase (5%) but from what it seems like, better WLB and less travel. I'm also more interested in working in the energy/climate/clean-tech space so this aligns more with my interests. Wondering what people think about Guidehouse and specifically the Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure practice. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks.

I just don’t want to get attached and him leave or get stuck in a situationship knowing I want a relationship.
