Hi Folks, I submitted documents 2 weeks ago for BGV in Tech Mahindra. I have not got any response so far from HR. However, last week they scheduled another interview and dropped me email just before 15 mins, yet i joined the interview but no one joined from their end. Now, HR is not responding. What should I understand from this case? Am I rejected? Tech Mahindra Tata Consultancy

I was in a similar boat until I really thought about exactly what I want to do, restructured my entire resume (took probably 10-15 revisions), and then started applying to positions that very very closely aligned to what I wanted to do.
It was remarkable how quickly I was getting calls, and for some reason, I just knew I was going to get them once I applied. On paper, it was the perfect match and a no brainer to interview me. And because I was such a close match, the interviews also had this energy and feeling that was different from the past. I walked out of every single one just knowing I would get the job.
Lo and behold, I got all offers and found my next job in FAANG within 1 week of applying. Very little prep.
You can do it OP, just sit down and see where you can make some adjustments and you will find your path :)
The problem with this is that the amount of roles that “very very closely” aligned are slim. If you don’t find roles that are an exact match, you would have to use multiple iterations of your resume that align better with the role.
I think the real difference between OP and you AC1, was mindset. You mention the energy in the interviews, it’s hard to find that mutually matched energy.
I’m on a similar boat. We will get through it!
Funny enough in my case, all the companies I applied for through referrals rejected me, and I landed my current job by a cold app. You never know what will happen! There can be so many reasons for rejections, so just keep trying and you'll get there.
Don’t lose hope. It’s a number game! Get your application up
I was able to get a job within 5 weeks back in October/November when the market was more uncertain. So you are in a great position. Just go in there and self yourself and own your experience. Act like what you have has value and others will treat you like you have value (hint—coming from Accenture you have value).
Are you updating your resume to be aligned with each position?
Yes. I actually got my new job through a third party recruiter who reached out to me. Before that I had had been looking off an on submitting cold applications starting in late 2019 - only two places had me go to the final round and in both cases they decided “to go in another direction, or that I did not have the industry experience they were looking for”. It takes time as well as it being a numbers game, and in hindsight those jobs were not meant to be. The job market is still pretty darn hot. Just keep going - you’ll land the opportunity that’s meant for you!
I too am loosing hope. I have to be over 100 applications in (with and without referral) and have maybe had 5 screening. It’s horrible out here.
