I really think that the insurance policy given by mediassist is way more expensive for parental insurance, means who will pay for 50k+ premium and that too for large copay, I guess the leadership team should intervene here....Parental insurance is really important for any employee and most of the time is only needed.
Recently I used parental insurance and found that the insurance company only paid for 50% of the total bill.

Get it done at a place that’s reliable and can deliver fast..don’t sweat over few hundred dollars, heard cases where doctors delay/don’t sign and folks had to wait months for GC due to such school boy errors..not worth it ..
You can get the vaccines you need to get done at a CVS/Walgreens separately and take the documentation with you to the civil surgeon. Otherwise the $450 seems standard.
I didn’t need any at the time, actually - but when I was in the US for school I needed to get TDaP and tetanus shots and they were free through my insurance. I took the documentation from those shots to the civil surgeon along with my records from home.
$450 is actually not bad. I've heard of people having to pay up to $900 per person for medicals in NJ. Many years ago, Abdallah Taha out of Jersey City used to be the cheapest doctor to get medicals done. I'm not sure if he still is.
Doesn’t PwC Pay for it? Or at least reimburse you? I haven’t gotten to the medical stage. But that’s not too bad even if it’s out of pocket.
No, they don’t pay for it, it is our expense
As compared to any other healthcare costs in the US. $450 seems like a deal! Vaccines are covered by insurance!
Agree with comments above. Go to your local doctor or CVS etc for vaccines (list is online). You can find cheaper immigration doctors if you shop around and are willing to travel but look online/yelp etc for your area. I had to get mine done in a week to get in the end of the fiscal year - if you need it quick make sure the immigration doctor you go to has an in-house lab as this will shave days off the time.
Sounds about right. I paid $375 in Tampa.
$150 in Philly if you want to travel from NJ, OP
150 is an unbelievably good deal. Who does it for that?
$450 is standard for the area. Cross check the list of vaccines you need or don't have paperwork for and get it through your PCP beforehand - should be covered by insurance then
