Don’t spend longer than 2 months studying. You’ll forget everything you studied in the beginning guaranteed. Biggest thing is to build a daily study schedule and to STICK TO IT. Plain and simple. Passed all 4 while working full time and consistency is the single biggest factor on whether you pass or fail. I also would second the guy/girl who said that FAR is a mile wide and an inch deep and to just focus on understanding the material at a high level.
^^ everyone above mentioned the right things that I found were helpful. Passed all four working full time, even managed to pass a couple during busy season. You just need to get in the groove of finding and STICKING to a study schedule. I would recommend putting in some time before work and after depending how late you get off and if you have time. It’s difficult, but rewarding in the end. Good luck OP!
Don’t rush it....
I created a workbook that tracked all the hours I spent studying to ensure I met/ exceeded the recommended study hours.
Do you mind sharing with me? Trying to be efficient
Ninja if you don’t have it to supplement already.
I'll call them and check - but yes mine is expiring as far as i know
Its not about the no of hours u spend. Its about how focused u r
FAR material is a mile long and an inch deep. Focus on understanding, not memorizing. Everyone studies differently, but for me I focused on getting through the material over perfecting it. I skipped most of the lectures, the skills practice, and only did the MCQ once even if I failed miserably. Really just focus on understanding and don’t sweat the small stuff. You’ve got this.
Practice sims 💯💯💯
Do at least 2 sims a day in your studying. Make sure you see the majority of them on Becker before taking your exam
Waking up at 4am every morning while I’m fresh worked best for me. Would go to bed early and study from 4-630am every morning and took nights off. I found I couldn’t focus and retain after a long day in PA. Did the MC questions over and over again until I felt ready.
Just keep practicing the becker questions. Over and over!!! Also, suggest to read the answer / solutions even if you get it right - there are some valuable insights in the solutions to help train your brain on how the tests work. Most importantly - don’t give up.
Not like you can’t take it any time soon. Just keep at it
Schedule a test date even when you're not completely prepared yet to give yourself a deadline.
Spend at least 2-3 hours for each time you sit down to study, and make sure to follow a schedule (everyday/other day/etc.). Make sure to review past chapter every week or so because there are a lot of material to cover.
I passed all 4 during the summer before work, so it was definitely easier than study during work. I was able to spend 8 hours a day for the whole summer to study. and only spend a month on FAR. But if you're motivated enough to discipline yourself to study you can do it.
I did the Becker final review only. Failed the first time. Did the final review only again and passed. I know someone who did the final review and passed the first time.
I am running through all the chapters once to understand all the concepts. Second time I am going and putting it to memory
I had ninja and cancelled. I feel so overwhelmed trying to do the Rogers cram course and follow Ninjas 7 week plan. Maybe for mcq later
Just keep practicing the multiple choice
Study two hours before work, then a few hours after work. Create your own flashcards and do every sim and you’re golden. Morning studying really made a huge difference! You’re more engaged!
Know when to take an “L” on a section. You will not know all the material perfectly and that’s okay. If you’re not getting a small section, take the “L” and move on.
