Can't you just take the day before moving in to disinfect everything?
Just clean the new place before you move in? Covid lives at MOST a couple of days on surfaces - give it two/three days after the last tenant leaves before moving in and you’ll be fine
Get a mover and have them move your stuff. Then get a hotel (not Airbnb) for a few nights. Virus don’t live long on surfaces

Move, bro.
move yourself?
It seems like you may have to move because there are new tenants already.
Honestly I would say if it’s possible see if you can find a place that allows you move in the middle of the month and use the last 2 weeks to clean everything yourself and move things gradually.
Yeah you should be fine moving into the new place. Just clean as you normally would.
OP check with your management office. The other tenants might have the same concerns as you and perhaps might be willing to wait.
I’m in the same situation but moving to a new city with kids for a new job. Good suggestion here, but most ideas like moving yourself little by little don’t work if moving to a new city.
I’m having my wife and kids wait in a room and the 2 movers will wear masks and moving gloves. I’m packing everything before, including renting furniture wraps from uHaul that are pre-sorted and packaged into a plastic bag days before and wrapping all our furniture myself. I got shrink wrap, bubble wrap and all the other stuff that professional movers use for moves. I also packaged everything in large boxes of the same size to expedite the move and minimize contact - the last thing I want is people touching all the small items that are left. I have a dedicated corner by the entrance where I’m stacking the boxes by size and weight since they want to load heavier stuff first. Lastly, I’m taking all valuables in my car.
Anything else that people would do in this case?

If you are packing it in cardboard boxes yourself then you should be good. I’m curious if you have just decided that the movers will will masks or if they’ve already agreed to it. Manual labor while wearing masks doesn’t seem like a good idea because it does actually restrict airflow when they actually work. If they are just moving boxes into the new place, you would be fine by just sanitizing the areas they touched and opening windows to get fresh air in and any potentially contaminated air out.
Stay where you are and live with the new tenants.
Hire movers, provide them gloves and masks if their company isn't already same with cleaners. Cleaning an empty apartment has a greater chance of ridding any contamination. And if by chance there is follow the wash hands regularly and don't touch your face for 24 hours even I'd you haven't gone outside.

Wear masks and gloves and don’t touch your face until you clean everything. You’ll be fine.

Pay the movers to move and unpack anything. Then hire a cleaning crew like Servpro
