Does anyone take day dates with their spouse/partner? By the time I get to bed, even on the weekends, I’m spent. I wonder if it would be more enjoyable to spend that time together during the day. We both work incredibly hard and are successful, but honestly I’m more the YOLO type and he probably would find it ridiculous to take this time off work. Has anyone found some enjoyment/benefit to spending time with your spouse like this?

How do you guys keep your house clean with toddlers and have time to work full time, work out, cook, play with toddlers, take them to activities, etc? I've never been a super tidy person but I really do enjoy a clean home and try but I have the hardest time keeping up. I did at one time have a housekeeper which helped but we can't afford it at the moment. Just doesn't feel like there's enough hours in the day to get it all done.

For moms with more than 1 child: what did you do for on call care for your oldest when you went into labor with your second child? Our family is 2-3 hours away so we are trying to gather a list of closer options until family can arrive. We will ask some friends, but feel we need a longer list of options in case someone falls through or we can’t get in touch in the middle of the night.

I have an 8 month old who is 26 pounds and pretty long. His Huggies size 5s, which have worked well for us for a long time, have started to leak at night. We can size up to the 6 (but then only the 7 is left?!), but wanted to check with this group on diaper recommendations for bigger, longer babies (e.g., Coterie, Dyper). Thanks so much in advance!!!

How do you handle handoff/transition before going on maternity leave? I will be going on maternity leave in 3 months and need to put together a transition plan so that someone can take care of my work while I am out. I want to make sure nothing falls through the crack but at the same time don’t want to train someone to do 100% of my job - that would make my role redundant if someone can just take over right? Plus the company is going through restructuring now too. How would you handle this?

Hi ladies,
I’m a FTM that recently was diagnosed with antibody induced hypothyroidism. I’m currently at 19 weeks and have been on the lowest dosage of the thyroid meds since the beginning of my pregnancy. My TSH levels went up suddenly to around 4.1 ish and the doctor was a little puzzled as to why that happened, and did a blood test and saw I had antibodies against the thyroid gland. This happen to anyone? Was just anxious.

Is 38 too late to start looking good? It just occurred to me this week that I can finally buy stuff for myself without feeling guilty or waiting for boxing day or a big sale. I have gray hair, dark circles and bulging belly and I am finally at a place where I can do something for me...but I feel like I've lost my prime "pretty years" and is 38 looking like 68.

So MIL has been watching my daughter off and on during the mornings this week because she has a cold and daycare won’t take her with her cough. Super grateful she’s here, but my MIL has been wearing new perfume or some sort of scent that has my allergies acting up and I don’t know if that is also contributing to my daughter’s cold. I’m getting to the point where my eyes are watering and I’m getting stuffed up because of the smell. My husband refuses to talk to her about it.

Has anyone had success traveling with a 4 month old? We are debating traveling for thanksgiving this year (5 hour car ride, could be longer with traffic) and would be staying at a hotel. Lots of family will be there who want to meet him for the first time. Is 4 months a dangerous time to disrupt a routine and sleep training?

My LO will only nurse in dangling position so she can kick her feet and wave her arms around. Help! My back and shoulders are so sore 😅

Mamas, how much do you spend on gifts for other kids/toddlers birthday parties? We just started our 3 year old in daycare/preschool and there’s a birthday party all the time it seems. For good friends we spend around $50-$100 for their kids gifts but it’s starting to add up, especially for classmates my kid doesn’t know too well. What’s your average?
