While I was on mat leave last year, we hired a contractor to be me and he’s still with us even though I’m back. I recently started approving his hours and just found out he’s getting paid $65/hr grossly, while I make $35/hr. Is this normal for contractor to make more than FTE?? I have an idea for a Docusign integration for realtors.
I’d charge a small subscription fee to existing Docusign customers for a plugin tool to make certain tasks easier.
I created a Docusign developer account and the ‘advocate’ from Docusign has been reaching out for a meeting to discuss my idea. I’m concerned Docusign would just take my simple idea and use their resources to build the same tool, and render my work product useless.
Any ideas/advice? Is this paranoid or reasonable concern?
