I can only imagine that this situation is even more difficult being she is also your flat mate. It sounds like you have put in the effort to ask what is wrong. She may have a different communication style or adapted one more recently that doesn’t align with yours. I think you have to do what’s best for you. Living day in and day out in a situation like this might impact your mental health. I hope that you and your friend will be able to resume your friendship as it was, but if not, that’s ok too. Friends can grow apart naturally and respectfully.
