Is there a bowl for those who we’re furloughed?
KPMG I cleared all the rounds of my interview with KPMG and was asked to provide necessary documents and fill a CAF form a week back and had a HR discussion too. I have requested for about 3Lakhs additional fixed pay since my current CTC has increased and HR said she will get back on this. It's been a week and haven't heard back on the offer letter. How long do you think I should wait. Please wait.

Why can’t you just be honest and tell them why you’re cutting them?
Yeeeesh people this was supposed to be light hearted. Just have heard some cheeky responses in the past and was curious of hearing more. But MP1 it’s REALLY good that you have calls with all your publishers. Even the sketchiest of vendors could be your boss one day! I try to do that as often as possible though I’m guilty of sending a vague email from time to time. Keep it up!
Hey Partner X, thanks for taking me and my coworkers out to dinner drinks and bowling last night, but despite our hour long heated debate about if you would be a fit, unfortunately our target audience is only 5% of your website audience so it's not going to be a fit. Thanks!
☺️
Got it. More of humorous post, not because you don't want to tell vendors the truth.
I don't have any good funny ones unfortunately. But would be interested to hear!
Nah I can tell them the truth. Just got a taste of some funny ones and curious if there’s more 😊
Was actually talking about this with a coworker today. We were going to compare who in the office had the best ones. Made me want to start an Outlook folder to save them for safe keeping
Sometimes it’s budgets, sometimes it’s going with a historical proven partner, sometimes it’s not fitting the KPI, sometimes it’s high duplication, the list goes on and on. I just know people send generic ones a lot and I’m curious to hear them.
I agree with above comments. How could you not have a reason for them not making the plan? Don't you use an evaluation grid ranking strengths and weaknesses?
If you honestly didn't choose them because you have a better relationship with a different rep, you also say that. Though that's not really a good reason to choose one partner over another in my opinion.
This has really taken a turn. Of course we have evaluation grids. Reasons I tell partners they didn’t make it on the reco range from the idea not being a fit, to going with historically proven partners, to something as simple as not indexing high enough for our audience in ComScore. This just came up because I was at dinner with a rep friend and she was sharing some of the “break up” emails she receives and I thought they were quite funny. Just wanted to hear if people had a standard one they use.
I’ll spare you my serious answer 😜
