How does one approach management about performance reviews? In every position I’ve had prior to my current one, reviews have been organized by management, and fairly regular, but I’ve been at my current firm for almost three years now, and have had one meeting to discuss performance. More to the point, I’d like to discuss my salary and feel a bit awkward bringing that up given the irregularity of these sorts of meetings.

Went from unpaid intern to contract, my boss didn’t pay me very much the whole year about $600 even though I worked on multiple UX projects. He promised me work with companies the whole time and didn’t deliver and was hard to get a hold of. I got an offer 6 figures and told him I was leaving. He suddenly wants me to work on his stalled projects after months of not submitting the materials 4 days before work. In the long run, he is a good contact but I no longer want to be a doormat.

I have an ethical dilemma about pre-registration for the vaccine. I had severe health issues and blood work results that indicate a potential autoimmune disorder, but my exact disease hasn’t been diagnosed yet. So I may be immunocompromised, but I don’t have proof or a clear diagnosis at this point. In this situation, would you check the box for autoimmune issues?

My workplace Wi-Fi blocks my email app from refreshing (I have an iPhone and use the mail app). Does anyone know a workaround to this? Where I sit has terrible cellular service so disconnecting from Wi-Fi doesn’t help unless I walk to another building.
