It's not about the heat, it's about the humidity. If it's humid, it'll take him much longer to dry than indoors in AC. But to answer your question, my dog doesn't like to be out in the heat for more than 20 minutes. If we are outside and it's super hot, he needs a lot of water. Maybe your dog is different and loves it! But I'd still make sure he has some optional shade and plenty of water.

Ohhhhhh 🥺❤️💦🐶
Before humans air dry was all there was
What would make you think you can’t do this?
Well heat stroke is more about how long your dog is outside and how active they are in the heat but it’s irrelevant if their fur is wet or not. My dog hates a blow dryer and towels so we only bathe her outside and then let her run around. She rolls around in the dirt which negates the bath but she’s happy!

Air dry should be fine
Can also use a blow dryer on the cool setting
