I am so tired of my sister and mom, and the pressure they apply on me to get married, 32 year old female and I have not met someone yet. I was in a relationship last year for a year and he turned out to be a very mean person and they now don’t trust me at all and want me to marry the first nice guy I go on a date with even if I have no attraction at all, and if I go on a couple of dates and I don’t feel it, they question my judgement. I feel like dying from the pressure.

Spouse is a state department employee and currently overseas. I’m a manager with three years of experience in consulting and 8 years of experience in the military where I left as a O-3 (GS-12 equivalent). 28 and total income is 220k (125k from job roughly 95k net from rental properties). Live in a LCOL 1 bedroom apartment and trying to keep monthly damage under 2.5k. No debt and reinvest RE gains. Wife wants me to buy a home around 700k, but I do not want my expenses to increase. Right now enjoying work/life because I could care less if I lose my job due to the RE income and low expenses. PwC partners - One of my biggest takeaways is that Directors aren’t taken care of appropriately in the firm. That includes lack of focus on their mental health, their work-life balance, unreasonable metrics, comp and bonus increases, how cohort progression is managed and transparency about the PCLDE process. This is based on my 4+ yrs as a D and talking to several folks at or outside CLEX. Several of us leave due to this - just sharing this feedback to consider.
