Not about work but need advice about friendship. I’ve an only son (4Y) and our ex-neighbors have an only daughter (3Y). The kids get along great, the dads tolerate each other and I like the mom. After they moved, we visited them a couple of times. We’ve been inviting them over all summer and they’ve been unable to make it. Yesterday we invited them over for dinner, at 4 pm they said they’ll get here at 6 pm and at 5.30 pm they cancelled. I feel like I’m the only one making an effort here.

I took my first day off in 2 years to take my son to the beach. A partner forced me to work all Father's day on a truly unnecessary project due to his own neuroses. Next day I call because our issue is resolved. I'm making a sand castle when I called and he proceeded to berate me about how the problem was my fault (it wasn't). He knew I was at the beach and even ended his rant by saying he hoped I was enjoying my day off. I'm wondering why we put up with it. It just doesn't seem worth it.

How do you normally deal with arguments in your relationship? My boyfriend results to the “silent treatment” whenever we get into it. I’m the type to deal with the problem right away and quickly move on, but he will go days without speaking to me, even ignoring my calls / messages. It drives me insane, and I’ve communicated plenty of times that I don’t like being ignored. We’ve been together for almost a year, everything else outside of this is great & this is the only flaw. Have 2 or 3 funds such as FSCSX, FSRPX, FBALX etc. that are good to decent in returns, but relatively higher expense ratio of 0.5% and higher. About 20k in investments between these funds. Worth flipping them over for lower cost S&P500 or Growth index funds?
It will be subject to capital gain tax (long term) that I'll lose and could have been avoided helping in compounded growth.
What would you recommend?

Does it suck traveling every week to Saudi? internal consulting WLB isn’t great but I am sure MBB in Dubai is much worse. Should I join? I am Arab and married by the way.
