My discussions with HR goes like this: HR: blah blah blah.... Me: blah blah blah..... HR: what are your expectations? Me: i have 5 yrs work experience and have handled multiple roles and responsibilities, so I expect around 12-13 LPA HR: Woaah! We can't give that much hike, on current CTC 6LPA. Industry standard is 30-50% hike. Me: Sure, i will agree on that if you agree that i should switch within 1-2 years of joining because thats the industry standard as well! Awkward silence and beep..!
