Given the turnover at A&M is so low, how does that impact career progression and promotion

What types of exit opportunities exist for someone in SaaS implementation? I have all the skills you would expect of someone in software delivery. I don't just want to move to a company in the same tech. Skills like - Agile, devops, cloud concepts, solution architecture, product development, product ownership. I'm Manager level.

I feel I am kinda lost about to do next after working in the agency analytics world for 5 year. Definitely want to switch to tech as the pay is higher and the work looks more interesting to me. Couple of paths that I have been considering: data scientist, data engineering, product analytics. Would like to be in more technical roles for the next couple of years. And would maybe like to be in product manager/manager role after that. What type of role would be the next best step.

I just being demoted after 6 months on my current role. It’s a big blow, was either a demotion or let go. They like my work ethic and decided to offer me the BDR position. I work with HR/Recruitment at an aquistion company. Most of our subsidiaries are small accounting firms, and we struggle with turnover/recruitment of certified public accountants. Mergers, tech and change affect the way we work and we’re overloaded with inexperienced graduates. As a result, the stereotypical accountant feels threatened, overworked and underpaid. Could really need some advice on how to deal with this issue.

Anyone a manager? I’m recently diagnosed (26F) and I can’t help but beat myself up everytime I fall short of my to do list. Makes me feel like a huge disservice to my team. Anyone else think the "Audit Experience" requirement for FDD roles is overblown?

From my experience talking and working alongside individuals in FDD is that the first year has a steep learning curve and while an Audit background is a nice to have the work you'll be doing is different from Audit.

I would think it would make more sense to bring in an associate sooner rather than wasting another year in Audit when they could already be learning the FDD role.
