I'm getting ramped up on work on very small teams, and things are being planned in advance for clients with my schedule in mind, but I know I won't be here for that. The split will be an amicable one, and I have no reason to think they would fire me on the spot (big "culture" emphasis here), although of course that's a concern. Anyone navigated this before and have any insight?

Accepted an offer as an EM for a consulting startup. The offer had no mention of a background check or any other employment dependencies. If I've already signed the offer letter, am I clear to quit my current role since employment doesn't appear to be contingent on anything? Should I be waiting for something? I know lots of people wait for background checks to clear before putting in their 2 weeks.
