GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) Gartner Hi! I'm currently working as an Account Manager in SMB at Gartner. Received an offer to work at GLG EMEA's enterprise financial institutions segment, also as an Account Manager.

Hi fishes, what are the chances of Pwc AC rescinding an offer, given the market condition. The offer letter I have received seems to be generic and doesn't look it is for a specific project. The role seems to be generic. I am a little hesitant, specially because of HR's behaviour who doesn't seem to care responding to my queries and ignores all my emails and calls. Any advice?
URGENT! Hey everyone! I am joining Nutanix soon but I am not in Bangalore right now but in a nearby city. What I want to check with all of you is whether Nutanix is calling employees to the office or is it still WFH culture, ofcourse the offer letter says that I have to be in Bangalore but my team is in USA, so if anyone of you who works in Nutanix or knows anyone in Nutanix can you please confirm how is the strictness right now regarding Hybrid? Verizon. This company only cares about numbers and does not promote based on how good you are. Office politics plays a bigger role. Verizon schedules your schedule based on their needs and not on yours. You are just a number at this company. I was told to sell a credit card to a poor man who couldn't afford to pay his next rent payment so that he can buy accessories. Verizon talks about "integrity" But that's just BS. I have never worked for a company it morally so corrupt.
Good morning everyone. I’ve been in sales for over 10+ years now with accumulation of telecommunications, HCM, and insurance sales being the most recent. I’ve always thought about becoming a Googler and I wanted to see what information you can provide with entry level sales at Google Closest location is the NYC office. I hear a lot about the cloud base sales department. If there’s a contact (recruiter) that I could connect with that will be helpful. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you.
I've heard really good things about GLG - especially in terms of culture/WLB.
What's WLB sorry 😅?
Anyyy insight appreciate here!
Currently at GLG… depends which portion of the company you’re working with but Client Solutions is a real pain… don’t know if I’d recommend. You’re essentially a glorified button pusher while in that segment.
Agreed with what others are saying. GLG pays well below market, and the pay bands are rigid and static so even the best managers (few of whom are left) can actually do anything for you. Run away as fast as you can if you’re driven or a high performer. Otherwise it’s a pretty good place to coast (if you’re not in CS).
We had a VP in my enterprise segment in N. America that had been missing quota and steadily declining in revenue for 2.5 years. He’s still there making ~200k and the only one who’s stayed. If you’re still evaluating and want to know salary bands, my AMs made ~80k, as a Senior AM I started at 115k base/160 OTE and after 1.5 years they offered me a VP title but tried to cap me at 150 base/205k OTE because I was already at quota by Feb. Was able to find double the base in 2 weeks doing the same thing for half the quota, so would recommend shopping around before accepting. Or RUN.
Ohh work life balance lmao
