Going back to industry and have been interviewing with a small regional bank. Seven rounds with the entire C suite later, there is an HR INTERVIEW. Normally this should be a good sign about talking salaries, but this interview was requested after round 3. And the title of the meeting is “interview” . Its set for later this week and I really don’t know what to expect. Appreciate anyone that can shed some light?

I had interviewed with PwC India for Business Analyst role at Pune location, my both Manager round and Client round went well. However I have still not received any call/ offer from HR. I did call the HR she told me that they have not heard back from the Client.

Anyone else finds it annoying how we are seen by civils? I mean, I like the respect and the people that approach me to congratulate me and thank me for my service, but I don't understand why some people are fearsome of us.

If my firm promotes one more initiative or event about “managing your work-life balance” I’m going to lose it. My current project is unrelenting and I do nothing but work and sleep. I’ve tried everything I can to manage the workload but the work keeps coming and the requests fall on deaf ears.

I resent work-life balance being treated as an individual skill I need to improve on, and not a structural problem that our firm’s leaders need to solve.
