Thanks @A1 and @P1. My project team has been great throughout my first child and now this one. I just can’t help being super nervous hoping that things go ok

Sounds like an imminently normal feeling OP. Make sure to leverage your personal and professional support network if you need it. And above all, remember that your first priority is no longer your client’s bullshit 😊

You will do great OP, absolutely normal to be nervous. However if you think you need more time, do consider an unpaid leave. I feel like I returned too soon after my maternity leave and struggled with PPD. In retrospect I really wish I had taken more time off even if unpaid. That said, whenever you do return - make sure to ask what you need from your team. I realized my team was actually happy to accommodate a new mom's needs but just didn't know what I wanted/needed.

Our nanny takes my 7 month old out for one, sometimes 2, long walks every day (weather permitting). Love the idea of fresh air every day but its often for several hours at a time and he always returns home crying bc she's pushed him to his limit between feedings. She brushes it off saying hes just fussy which kind of irks me. Im also concerned that he's spending too much time strapped in a stroller. Is it reasonable to ask her to take shorter walks? Am I overreacting?
