I was just telling my friend my favorite restaurants in Boston so I will throw those out in case you are interested! Mariel in post office square, Yvonnes at downtown crossing, Shojo in Chinatown and Empire in Seaport.
Taht would be great!
Ice skating at Frog Pond in Boston Common would be a fun activity! Also walk around Beacon Hill right by there (cute cobblestone streets) and then head to the North End for Italian desserts as others suggested. Second the Yvonne's suggestion for a super cute place & good cocktails. Downeast Cider is accessible by the Blue Line and is a really fun cider tasting & tour! Kane's donuts (there is a location downtown) is really good or Cafe Madeleine in Back Bay for really good french pastries are other dessert options! :)
Oh, also Tatte or Flour for coffee, lunch or desserts. Both local chains so theres a bunch around.
What’s your vibe and what are you gals looking to do? Do you care about the tourist/historic spots or do you just want to eat/drink? Do you want to shop? Brunch or dinner?
It’s our first time so I would say touristy and also dessert spots and cute places to chill
Freedom trail, for sure. North end is nice. You can eat at any of the Italian restaurants and get some gelato and cannolis there (cannolis at Bova's are incredible). Caffe Vittoria in the North End for a cute Italian cafe. Visit Harvard/Harvard Square and MIT, Faneuil Hall, Fenway Park if you like baseball, nightlife in the Seaport district or theater district (not as good as Seaport), Chinatown (I'm partial to Hot Pot Buffet). Back Bay is nice for shopping (Stop by Trident Bookstore there), Prudential building for a great view of the city. Depending on the season/availability, I would do a whale watching tour, harbor cruise, and/or Charles river cruise and The Tall Ship Boston for more nightlife.
