My issue is that I live in LIC and you can only reach that exit if you are in the right lane of the tunnel. If you go in the left lane, you can’t get over to exit and then end up having to drive miles to the next exit, usually adds 20+ min.

So little faith in humanity. 15 Times is probably 10% of the times I’ve gone to lga in the last 3-4 years. Moreover, most times I’m head down on my computer so I assume the driver will do his/her job. Lastly, 5/15 times this has caused an issue, usually my ride time increases by 10-15 minutes, I laugh and brush it off. What’s your story?

I am torn between 2 “offers” - first is MBA (insead - no option to defer unfortunately) vs Amazon - Minimum TC 200k (SGD, incl, RSU) - non tech strategy role, first hire for my team in the region. I have 5.5 yrs exp. I see the later as more practical given I was aiming for FAANG post mba but also fear losing the network of the former.... Grateful for any views ☺️

Asking for a friend. He has about 10 years of experience as a patent examiner with the USPTO. Graduated 1st in class from a good regional law school that I guess is t3/4 and just passed the bar. He has great pay, benefits, and WLB at the office so he only would consider leaving for more pay but with similar WLB. Where should he look for his dream job? Would his experience be appealing?
