My training process between B4s consisted of how to use my computer and lead-by-example case interviews
I do not know much about SAP practice, so I can’t speak for them. But you do get training budget every year. You can choose to go to our Advisory university with soft skill or hands on skill training or you can choose to take an external training that align with the firm.
Typically, you turn up, do 1 week orientation, then are dropped into it. Sink or swim. (Ex Big 4 here) Perhaps with even less help the more senior you are.
A week of onboarding, but not much technical skills training. More experienced you are the less technical training you’re likely to get as a new hire. Assumption is that if you needed technical training to get up and running you wouldn’t be an “experienced” hire

So they just expect you to be ready to go even if we were in a rotational program where we may not have been hands on the whole entire 2 years?
It depends on practice. Our cyber practice has product trainings for technical implementation and mentoring program so that you have continuous help, and grow your skill
Say I plan on joining the Advisory practice as a SAP consultant?
You go thru basic "consulting" training and how to navigate within the firm type stuff. Throughout the year theres also additional training if ur practice requires it. As an experienced hire, there is expectation that you are bringing skillsets to the practice.
You spend about a week doing webinars on how to submit expenses and not sexually harass people, etc. Like others have said there’s an annual budget but just for on-boarding it’s mostly admin stuff. I went to some “experienced hire” training a few months in but it’s not required and it depends if your project will let you go
I wouldn’t expect the same level of training that IBM offers at another firm. Despite its pitfalls, I’d say ibm does an exceptional job when it comes to talent development, education, and learning
