Don’t let it get you down! So many in the same boat. Regardless of weight look at it from the perspective, it’s been 2 years you’re do for a wardrobe refresh anyhow. Go treat yourself!

From a production company perspective, the most wonderful, breathtaking thing a CD can wear is a promise not to make suggestions for additional shots that were not in the original specs, director’s treatment, or budget.

It’s kind of “la chilly” here right now! Wear baggy warm clothes and be comfortable!

Totally feel you! I think most of us are in the same boat. I think even buying one or two new pairs of pants/jeans and a shirt or two might help. That way, you're comfortable and can go and be great in the world but also don't have to deal with the inner anguish of having to replenish an entire wardrobe right now

Q for the people that like WFH and never want to go back - what is your living situation? I hate WFH and can’t wait to be back in the office, so curious if other people have adapted better or if their environments are just more conducive to being successful (house with home office and family vs being alone in a 1BR apartment).

Got covid from the UK , double vaxxed , and symptoms are wildly atrocious. Everyday I have different issues. I went from no fever to 102.4 in a couple of minutes. Blood oxygen dropped dangerously low and bounced back in a few minutes. Chills , cold sweats. My newest one is that my legs are so achey and sore it feels like they were beaten with a bat , just nonstop pain and can’t sleep. Anyone else experience these? Pretty sure I’d be hospitalized at a minimum without the vax

I have a pyramid event tomorrow but I feel sick and I have a severe cold. Tickets have been purchased already, I am 100% certain it’s not covid because I took a test already. However, I don’t want to get anyone sick with cold. How do I handle this situation? Is it possible to let them know I can’t attend because of my cold even if the tickets have been purchased? I feel bad.

Apparently more than a few of my firm's associates moved to other states during COVID and are now quitting because we are coming back to the office. The wierd thing is that my office is quickly replacing those associates with other associates that moved here (a large secondary market) during COVID and refuse to go back to their (mostly NYC-based) firms. Is this churn happening at other firms too?

After a bunch of poor options performance, through patient and risk averse stocks, slowly built up my profits to cover my previous losses. Happy to become green pretty soon after more than a year of wallowing in red. PS the big dip wasn't me, it was COVID. I cut my losses 2 dips before then.

Today our board votes whether or not to send us back on March 1st. We have been virtual all year. My diabetic husband and I both had COVID but we still haven’t been able to get vaccinated and there is a chance that we could get another strain. They could send us back for state testing and the WIDA. I’m nervous.

Strategy folks - Do you like your industry alignment? Why or why not? Deciding where to align and not sure yet. I like FS - Banking but the risk of getting pulled into compliance related work is always a concern. I’ve also really enjoyed the retail/consumer space but it seems like a risky area considering how vulnerable it is (I.e. most recent COVID shutdowns and impact on consumer spending). TIA!
