Accenture’s a big place...doesn’t matter if you leave immediately after joining a project I’m sure they’ll somehow survive
Until you’ve put in your two weeks, act like you work there. Because you do
Look after yourself first :). Like PwC1 said, ACN is a big place and these things happen and have ways of being handled. Just make sure to make things as seamless as possible when you do leave if possible - 2 weeks, KT, etc.
Try to avoid projects. Currently interviewing for companies while on a super intense project and I feel like I’m dying
What D1 said. You never know how long it will take to get a final offer and start date squared away. So worst thing is you get staffed to a role and then immediately put in your two weeks notice. They’ll understand this if you tell them right away.
Never put in 2 weeks until you have a signed contract and a real start date
Until I put in my two weeks or should I just take another role and leave in a few weeks anyways? That just seems silly though.
Can I just avoid projects until I give my two weeks ? Seems simpler but might look bad
Agree, don’t quit until you quit. Fact is you don’t have a start date yet and I’ve heard of offers falling through. It’s wise to keep the job you have until you have something solid to step to. But don’t be so worried about it. Best part about an exit plan is that it takes some stress off finding the perfect role.
Thanks for the advice
